BurningGreymon Fan Illustration

When re-watching Digimon Frontier I felt a strong connection to BurningGreymon's first appearance, so I wanted to illustrate him. It's my first time working on a complex character, a departure from pokemon and rookie digimon.
Something cool I want to highlight is the wings' outline. Achieving a powerful, expressive lineart which wasn't pure black was no easy challenge, but I ended up getting there by overlapping an orange and a black copy and masking partially with a brush. Looks fiery! Also I realized near the end that the gun's perspective was wrong and remade it. Worth it.
